Caring for refugee and asylum seekers

4h CPD

Welcome to the ANMF’s Continuing Professional Development eLearning module, ‘Refugee and Asylum Seeker Health’. This four-hour module focuses on the care of people who come to Victoria as refugees and asylum seekers. Each year approximately 4,000 refugees settle in this state-last year the number was over 7,000. It is therefore highly likely that in your nursing role, no matter in what clinical setting, you will care for people of refugee or asylum seeker backgrounds. There are also resources, videos, and links for you to continue your learning. It has been updated in 2020.

Please note: The contents of this module will no longer be accessible once completed.
