This module was developed by Gatehouse at the Royal Childrens Hospital for the ANMF (Vic Branch).
As a professional who works within our community, you may be in contact with children and families which allows you to play a valuable role in protecting children from harm. You are well placed to observe indicators and signs of child abuse and if you have any concerns, it is essential that you make a report to the relevant authorities.
On successful completion of this module, you will be able to:
List the reasons why we need to protect children
Define roles and responsibilities
Identify the factors in deciding to report
Identify the steps in making a report
List the resources for obtaining advice or support
Please note: The contents of this module will no longer be accessible once completed.
