Crossing Boundaries

Crossing Boundaries is an interactive workshop focussing on the interaction and tension between personal and professional relationships and responsibilities. It will cover definitions of ‘professional boundaries’, governance and regulation, case studies from the Fair Work Commission, video ‘hypotheticals’, roleplay scenarios, and discussion of strategies for navigating personal and professional boundaries.

Kirrily Buckett, a qualified lawyer, has diverse experience in Union work, Community Legal Centre volunteering, and has also worked as a civil litigation solicitor. She completed a Master of Labour Law and Labour Relations through the University of Sydney in 2020. She has also worked for a number of years as a teacher in higher adult education. After relocating from New South Wales, Kirrily has been with the ANMF Victorian Branch since December 2021.

This course is suitable for registered nurses, enrolled nurses and midwives.

Please note: This course is currently scheduled to be delivered face to face at ANMF Victorian Branch, 535 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne.  Face to face delivery is subject to change dependent on the COVID-safe conditions and restrictions in place on the course delivery date.
