Clinical assessment skills for best health outcomes

This interactive and scenario based one-day workshop will further develop your clinical assessment skills to ensure best health outcomes on your care delivery.
You will explore patients’ subjective account of their symptoms and their associated health beliefs regarding their illness as well as the clinical objective findings. These findings will include data obtained through physical examinations, laboratory tests, medical history and information reported by carers, family members and other members of the health care team.
This workshop aims to improve critical thinking and clinical reasoning abilities for all nurses and midwives.
This course is suitable for registered nurses, enrolled nurses and midwives.
Please note: This course is currently scheduled to be delivered face to face at ANMF Victorian Branch, 535 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne. Face to face delivery is subject to change dependent on the COVID-safe conditions and restrictions in place on the course delivery date.
