Enabling EDIE dementia virtual reality session
With the use of high-quality virtual reality technology this three-hour workshop situates you to see the world through the eyes of a person living with dementia. This immersive experience will raise your awareness of the emotional and perceptual changes that can occur for a person with dementia.
You will develop a greater understanding of the stages of dementia, including support considerations for the person and their carer(s).
This workshop will also assist you in your ability to develop a dementia support plan to enable a person to live more confidently with dementia
This course is suitable for registered nurses, enrolled nurses and personal care workers.
