Asthma and anaphylaxis - A holistic approach to assessment and management
Note: This course will be delivered remotely using Zoom. This one-day workshop provides a comprehensive and holistic approach to asthma management for all nurses and midwives.
You will be provided with current guidelines on asthma first aid, asthma action plans, and evidence-based use of prevention and reliever medications. Interactive and problem-based activities are included to assist with your own development for effective and preventative education.
A practical component is included to improve your assessment and management of asthma. Different resources will be explored and discussed to support your practice.
This course is suitable for registered nurses, enrolled nurses and midwives.
